Why are dual action vibes often referred to as “rabbit style?” The Original Rabbit was one of the first with its cute, rabbit shaped external vibe. It vibrates its tiny bunny ears and nose externally just where you want! Cute as the bunny is, The Original Rabbit also features an internal piece that rotates to find all your sexy areas and has rotating pearls near the opening of the vagina. Yeah, The Original Rabbit has it going on.

It might seem like there are too many buttons to control this bunny, but each one allows you to control a unique aspect of the vibe. On one side the three buttons control the rabbit, and on the other, the internal piece.* Each has an on/off button, an intensity button, the last button in each row controls the vibration pattern for the rabbit, or the rotation pattern for the internal piece. This means you can have just what you like in the moment. Dial down the vibration and up the rotation, or stop the rotation all together and just use the vibe. It’s all up to you!

You would like this toy if you want one that can be used in a vagina and on a clit at the same time.

You would not like this toy if you want a dual action but need a shorter insertable piece so that vibration reaches the clit without as deep an insertion.

*The insertable part of the vibe has a little face on it and impressions that suggest jewelry. Back in the day, Japanese laws dictated that you could not manufacture things that looked like penises. (The company is a US company but they were manufactured in Japan.) So, the head of the insertable piece resembles a person and the external piece became a rabbit.

Care and Upkeep

This toy can be used with any type of lubricant though some people feel that its delicate material will break down faster with oil or silicone-based lubes. You should wash your rabbit in warm water with a mild soap. Elastomer isn’t sterilizable, so a little bit of stuff that touches it will stick with it through washings. If you’re going to share it make sure that everyone involved is cool sharing body fluid with each other and don’t use it anally unless you cover it well with a condom first. As with any toy we recommend washing it before its first use and after each use. Make sure to keep the battery compartment dry when you wash it!
